audioavalon was conceived and devised by ken avalon back in spring 2010. its main mission was to add some disco sparkle to the blog-o-sphere. from time to time there will be some features with interviews, thus far with christopher norman, theatre of delays, özgür can and drop out orchestra.
as of january 2013 the blog has been turned into a digest form with a cook up of the best findings from the current week. since october 2011 we have our own radio show on PURE.FM. it airs every 3rd friday of the month at 19 gmt. you can get the playlists and aired shows as 192 kbps mp3 here. the blog is supposed to serve as place where you can find fresh music in good taste. if you feel that your music shouldn’t be featured, or if you feel misrepresented in any way, do contact me. the last thing i would want is posting something the artists or the representatives of the artists doesn’t want posted.
